Shocking street for potholes

by PAULC

22 Apr 2010

I came off my moped about 6 weeks ago, i have only just found out that i had broken my collar bone and tore my rotation cuff in the shoulder. The damage to my moped has got worse and now needs to be scrapped, i am unable to go to the gym and i am now unable to carry out my duties at work, i have not been able to sleep very well because of the pain. At first i thought i had pulled a muscle or something but when i went to the hospital last week they confirmed the extent of the damage.

Check out www.alloywheelrepairs.net for buckled or bent pothole damaged wheels, Del can fix anything, unfortunately he does not deal directly with insurance companies, you need to do that. But he will provide reciept with damage reported on it, in order to claim against insurance companies.

I am sorry to here your plight. Try lawyers4you, they do a no win no fee agreement. And sue the council for all they are worse. If you are depessed you can claim damages for that too. Get better soon

Take a look at the "how to claim" section of the websit e if you are interested in taking action over this. You need to establish whether the council was liable for the surface of the road and were monitoring them as they set out to do. If not then you've got a case but if they were acting properly then unfortunately there's not much you can do. Reporting the pothole on here sends an automated email to the council identifying them of it's existence so they should fix it asap and nobody else will end up like you. I wish you a speedy return to health!
